UFC 150: Ben Henderson Narrowly Defends Lightweight Title In Rematch With Frankie Edgar
By FCF Staff
Benson Henderson retained the UFC Lightweight Championship tonight in Denver, Colorado, however, the dynamic fighter once again needed the judge’s scorecards to defeat former champ Frankie Edgar.
While Henderson’s unanimous decision victory over Edgar in February was extremely competitive, this time around the champion only received the nod from two judges and was awarded the split decision win.
In the co-main-event, lightweight Donald Cerrone survived an early onslaught from the powerful Melvin Guillard, and finished his former teammate with a head kick and punch combination.
Here are the results from tonight’s UFC 150 card.
Benson Henderson def. Frankie Edgar via split decision (46-49, 48-47-48-47)
