The UFC hasn’t made any announcement about an official date for a rematch between Ilia Topuria and Alexander Volkanovski. But, Bo Nickal is reporting he’s been told the featherweights will fight at UFC 314.

For a couple of months now, the consensus has been that the UFC is going to book Topuria vs. Volkanovski 2. Following Topuria’s knockout of Max Holloway in October, the featherweight champ acknowledged a rematch with Volkanovski makes sense. Topuria (16-0) ended Volkanovski’s (26-4) lengthy reign as champ last January by knocking him out in round two.

During a recent video that went up on Nickal’s YouTube channel, the renowned wrestler reportedly said that he’s learned the rematch is set for UFC 314, April 12th (quotes via MMA Fighting.com).

“It’s official,” Nickal said. “I know for a fact. I don’t know that it was announced for a fact, but I know it’s happening for a fact. I’m announcing it.

“I might fight on that card. That’s the card I’m trying to fight on. April, Miami.”

The location and venue for UFC 314 also has yet to be officially announced. The middleweight Nickal (7-0) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Paul Craig in November.
