Brendan Schaub Say He’s “Fine”, Despite Facial Injuries From UFC 174 Loss
By FCF Staff
Brendan Schaub may have looked like he was in need of some serious, medical attention following UFC 174, but the heavyweight is reporting he’s doing just fine.
Schaub dropped a tightly contested, split decision loss to Andrei Arlovski on Saturday, which left the right side of his face severely, swollen. The 31 year-old fighter was also cut above his left eye.
In follow up tweets from Schaub, however, he relayed:
Guys I'm fine! Just got cleared by the docs thanks for the support. We know who won that fight #TeamBigbrown @ufc

Schaub was coming off victories over Lavar Johnson and Matt Mitrione before facing Arlovski, and now carries a record of 10-4.
UFC 174 was hosted by Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia.
