Cage Warriors 96: Soren Bak Survives First Round Scare to Win Lightweight Title

Cage Warriors 96 took place today in Liverpool, England, and the card saw Soren Bak and Jonas Billstein walk away with titles.

In the main event, Bak worked his way to a decision win over Paddy Pimblett to secure the vacant lightweight belt. Bak survived what appeared to be a fully sunk in rear-naked-choke in the first round, and came back to outscore the Liverpool fighter throughout the remainder of the fight.

In the co-main event, Billstein submitted late replacement Mick Stanton in the first round to win the vacant middleweight title.
