The UFC has announced that a knee injury has forced former TUF Brasil competitor Thiago “Bodao” to the sidelines, and as a result, Caio Magalhales has agreed to step in and fight Michael Kuiper at the promotion’s January 19th card.

UFC on FX 7 will take place on that day and will be hosted by the Ginasio Estadual Geraldo Jose de Almeida in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Kuiper (12-1) is coming off a second round stoppage of Jared Hamman at UFC 150 in August, after losing by UD to Rafael Natal in February.

Magalhaes (5-1) is coming off an unsuccessful Octagon debut in June as he lost by unanimous decision to middleweight Buddy Roberts.

UFC on FX 7 will be headlined by a middleweight bout between Michael Bisping and Vitor Belfort and will be broadcast on FX.
