By FCF Staff
After being bloodied and battered by Max Holloway at UFC Fight Island 7, Calvin Kattar has credited the former featherweight champ in a post-fight statement.
Kattar faced Holloway in the main event of Saturday’s card, and although he kept fighting until the final horn, he was outstruck by a whopping, 447 to -134 margin. Holloway won the bout via scores of 50-43, 50-43, 50-42.
Since then, Kattar has posted the statement below.
Success in life comes when you simply refuse to give up. With goals so strong that obstacles, failure and loss only act as motivation. Props to Max on a hell of a fight he deserves all the praise. Thankful for my team’s commitment for this fight. On to the next. There is no stopping the man who doesn’t quit.
The 32-year-old Kattar’s record now stands at 22-5, following the loss to Holloway (22-6).
