Canelo Alvarez Records Clear Cut Win Over Jermell Charlo

Saul “Canelo” Alvarez retained all four of his super middleweight titles in convincing fashion on Saturday, as the star recorded a dominant win over Jermell Charlo.
Alvarez pressured Charlo from the opening bell, and consistently bested the light middleweight champion. In round seven, Charlo was also compelled to take a knee after absorbing a heavy right hand from Alvarez.
After the bout, all three judges awarded the fight for Alvarez with scores of 118-109, 118-109, and 119-108.
With the win, Canelo moved his record to 60-2-2, while Charlo’s fell to 35-2-1.

The fight took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
