Carlos Ulberg to Face Jamahal Hill in Quick, Turnaround Fight
By FCF Staff
Following his quick, knockout win earlier this month, Carlos Ulberg won’t have to wait long for his next bout. Recently, the UFC announced that Ulberg will face former light heavyweight champ, Jamahal Hill at UFC 303.
Ulberg (10-1) is coming off a 12 second, KO win over Alonzo Menifield on May 11th to move his UFC record to 6-1. The opportunity to fight Hill came about, after the latter’s original opponent, Khalil Rountree, was suspended for using a banned substance.

Hill (12-2) is looking to get back on track, after being knocked out by current champ, Alex Pereira, in April. That bout marked the first time Hill had competed since he won the title in January, 2023, by recording a decision win over Glover Teixeira. Hill vacated the title later in the year after tearing his Achilles tendon.
Currently, Hill is ranked #3 in the UFC’s light heavyweight division and Ulberg is ranked #11.
UFC 303 will take place on June 29th and will feature Conor McGregor versus Michael Chandler in the main event.
