Claudia Gadelha Says She’ll be Healthy and Ready to Battle Joanna Jedrzejczyk
By FCF Staff
Following reports that Claudia Gadelha is injured and may not be able to fight strawweight champ Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 195 as expected, the contender has assured fans that she’ll be ready to go.
Recently it was reported that the UFC was considering its options, as a result of a finger injury Gadelha had incurred. The 26 year-old has tweeted the following, however, in response to the reports:
Guys, I'm not injured. I'm taking care of my finger that I hurt in my fight with Aguilar. That's it. I will be ready when Joanna is ready.

Gadelha (13-1) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Jessica Aguilar at UFC 190, after she dropped a split decision to Jedrzejczyk last December, in what was an extremely competitive bout.
UFC 195 is scheduled to take place on January 2nd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
