If and when CM Punk fights in the Octagon again, he’ll do so, having earned his blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Recently Roufusport jiu-jitsu coach, Daniel Wanderley, announced via Instagram that the former pro-wrestliner has earned his BJJ blue belt.

The accomplishment comes approximately 15 months after Punk, or Phil Brooks, made his pro-MMA debut at UFC 203 and was submitted by Mickey Gall.

It’s not clear yet whether Brooks will be signed for a second fight with the promotion, but, the star has said he’s optimistic it will happen.
