For the last few years, the belief has been that the MMA record of pro-wrestling star, Phil ‘CM Punk’ Brooks, was 0-2. But, now it’s been revealed Brooks’ 2018 bout with Mike Jackson was actually, overturned.

Brooks faced Jackson at UFC 225 and lost the bout via a one-sided, unanimous decision.

But, recently MMA Junkie discovered, via a Freedom of Information Act request that was filed with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, that Jackson tested positive for “tetrahydrocannabinol due to marijuana” on fight night.

As a result, the result was overturned to a no-contest, leaving Brooks’ record at 0-1, with 1 NC. Jackson was also suspended for three months as a result of the positive test. His record is also 0-1, with 1 NC.
