A recent picture of Jose Aldo has prompted concerns online, as the former featherweight champ gets set to make his bantamweight debut. But, Conor McGregor believes the legendary fighter looks on track as he cuts to 135.
Aldo is preparing to make his bantamweight debut against Marlon Moraes on December 14th at UFC 245. Recently ESPN’s Ariel Helwani was one of the people to express concerns about the star’s appearance, and McGregor responded with this:
“I disagree here,” McGregor said. “(Aldo) looks more than on top of it in my experienced opinion. Well trimmed in advance, and naturally a lighter man now. This can only be done over a long length of time and with complete dedication. Respect! I wish him well and am excited to see him in this division.”
