Conor McGregor Receives Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt

Conor McGregor has added another accomplishment to his martial arts resume, as the former UFC champ has been awarded his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt.
The 35-year-old announced the news recently on his Instagram account and shared the images and comments below. McGregor received his black belt from longtime coach, John Kavanagh.
McGregor was expected to fight fellow TUF coach, Michael Chandler sometime in 2023. But, due to McGregor’s USADA testing status, it remains to be seen if and when the fight will happen. The polarizing star hasn’t competed since July, 2021, when he broke his leg during his rubber match with Dustin Poirier.
