The UFC has announced several fights for the promotion’s upcoming card in Des Moines, Iowa, one of which will feature the return of Jeremy Stephens.

Recently, the promotion announced that bantamweight contenders Cory Sandhagen and Deiveson Figueiredo will square off in the May 3rd card’s main event. In addition, the UFC announced that Stephens will battle former Cage Warriors champ, Mason Jones, in a lightweight contest.

Stephens (29-21) hasn’t competed under the UFC banner since July, 2021, when he was submitted by Mateuz Gamrot. Most recently, in January, the 38-year-old stopped Eddie Alvarez while fighting for the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.

The UFC has also announced that former ONE champ, Reinier de Ridder, will fight decorated wrestler Bo Nickal in a middleweight showdown.
