Curtis Blaydes vs. Alexander Volkov Bout Confirmed
By FCF Staff
The Ultimate Fighting Championship continues to book bouts for its summer schedule, as a heavyweight clash between Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov has been announced.
Recently the promotion confirmed that the heavyweights will fight on June 20th. Although the event has yet to receive an official venue, the UFC’s Apex Facility in Las Vegas will likely host the card.
Blaydes (13-2, 1 NC) is coming off a stoppage win over Junior dos Santos in January, and the powerful wrestler has won three straight.
Volkov (31-7) outscored Greg Hardy for a decision win in his last outing, which took place in November. The 6’7 tall fighter has gone 2-1 in his last 3 bouts.
