Featherweight number one contender Morgan Charriere (15-7) returns at Cage Warriors London and will compete for the Interim Title.

With current champion Mads Burnell unable to compete on March 20th, an Interim Featherweight Title fight has been scheduled for the Indigo at the O2 Arena.

Surging prospect Morgan Charriere, perhaps the hottest rising name in French MMA, knocked out former champion Dean Trueman at CW109 with the biggest statement of his career to date.

With one of the biggest and most widespread fanbases on the continent behind him, Charriere’s finish over Trueman won 2019’s KO/TKO of the Year by the highest margin since the awards began. The votes in Charriere’s favour made up 96.1% of the 41,000 votes in this year’s poll.

And Charriere has the fighting prowess to match his fanatic support, having also picked up a victory over Lewis Monarch – another man who had previously challenged for the belt – at CW106. His next opponent is soon to be confirmed.

Charriere joins fellow Frenchman and Flyweight Champion Samir Faiddine, who makes the first defence of his belt against Luke Shanks on the CW113: London card. In an exciting time for French MMA, Mehdi “Iron” Ben Lakhdar will also compete in the coming months, when he takes on Jack Grant at CW114: Birmingham.

The huge CW113: London card also features Mason ‘The Dragon’ Jones, Paddy ‘the Baddy’ Pimblett and many more of the biggest names on the Cage Warriors roster.

CW113: London will take place on Friday March 20th, showcasing the hottest rising stars of the sport in the Indigo at the O2 Arena. The following day, UFC FIGHT NIGHT LONDON hits the O2 Arena in what’s anticipated to be one of the UK’s must-see sporting events of the year.
