Dan Hooker and Jalin Turner Announce Upcoming Bout
By FCF Staff
The UFC continues to book fights for the promotion’s spring schedule, as Dan Hooker and Jalin Turner have announced the two are going to battle in March.
The lightweight contenders have confirmed that they will face off at the March 4th, UFC 285 card, which will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada. Hooker reportedly announced the bout via The MacLife, and Turner reported the match-up via Instagram.
Hooker (22-12) ended a two-fight losing skid in November, by stopping Claudio Puelles in the second round.
Turner (13-5), meanwhile, is riding a five-fight, winning streak. In his last outing, in July, Turner quickly submitted Brad Riddell.
Currently, Hooker is ranked #11 in the UFC’s lightweight ranks and Turner is #10.
UFC 285 will be headlined by a fight between Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane for the vacant, heavyweight title.
