Dan Hooker Fires Back at Justin Gaethje, Over Latter’s Prediction For Dustin Poirier Fight

Recently Justin Gaethje made it pretty clear who he thinks is going to win the upcoming bout between Dustin Poirier and Dan Hooker, and the latter was quick to respond.
Hooker and Poirier have been booked in the main event of the UFC’s June 27th card in Las Vegas. Since then, Hooker argued in an interview that Poirier will be unable to take the level of punishment Paul Felder absorbed, in their fight this past February. Hooker won that thrilling battle via split decision.
That prompted Gaethje to make the following tweet, and Hooker fired back.
“This dude is getting merked.”

Gaethje won the interim lightweight title last month by stopping Tony Ferguson, and is expected to fight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov later this year.
