The Ultimate Fighting Championship continues to book bouts for its upcoming schedule, and Dana White’s confirmed one of those fights will see “Shogun” Rua and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira fight for a third time.

Recently White appeared on Steve-O’s Wild Ride! podcast, and while doing so, he confirmed Rua – Nogueira III has been signed for July 25th. The legends were scheduled to fight May 9th in Brazil; however, due to the coronavirus pandemic the event was canceled.

Rua (26-11-1) and Nogueira (23-9) fought in 2005 and then again in 2015, and Rua won both fights via decision.

The July 25th card has yet to receive an official location, but the event is expected to take place on ‘Fight Island’ (the location of which hasn’t been disclosed).

A middleweight fight between former champ Robert Whittaker and Darren Till will headline the upcoming card.
