Dana White Reports Misha Cirkunov Has Resigned With UFC Afterall
By FCF Staff
Recently Dana White said he’s “done” with Misha Cirkunov and wasn’t interested in resigning the light-heavyweight, but now the UFC President’s reported they’ve come to terms with the fighter.
Cirkunov entered free agency following his submission win over Nikita Krylov in December, and earlier in February, White claimed the 30 year-old “flaked out” on a new deal. But, while appearing on TSN Wednesday, White said this (quote via MMA Fighting):
“We had come to terms on a deal, I had thought, and he sort of went MIA on me,” White said. “I honestly don’t know what happened. He came back around, we got the deal done and I’m happy about it.”
White did not disclose when and who Cirkunov (13-2) will fight next. The latter has gone 4-0 in the UFC to date.
