Dana White Reports Ronda Rousey Likely Won’t Fight at UFC 200

Not long after the UFC confirmed that Holly Holm will defend the bantamweight title versus Miesha Tate on March 5th, Dana White has reported that Ronda Rousey will likely not be back for UFC 200.
After Holm KO’d Rousey at UFC 193 in November, White relayed the promotion’s plans to book a rematch for UFC 200 in July. Holm’s camp asked the UFC for a bout in the interim, however, and recently she was booked to fight Tate.
In a follow up report for Yahoo Sports, White has revealed that Rousey asked the UFC for a longer break from fighting, since filming for “Roadhouse” has been pushed back. Rousey is appearing in the film.
White also stated that Rousey deserves an extended break from fighting, after a keeping busy schedule the last couple of years.
