Daniel Straus Reports He’s “Recovering”, After Being Hospitalized Due to Motorcyle Accident

Daniel Straus is reporting that he’s “recovering”, after the former Bellator featherweight champ was hospitalized in Florida, due to a motorcycle accident.
According to a report from Bleacher Report, the fighter’s manager has confirmed that Straus has full movement of his legs and arms, but the full extent of his injuries aren’t yet known. In addition, the story included the following statement from Straus:
“On early Sunday morning, I was involved in a motorcycle accident. I’m currently recovering and will hopefully be returning to the Bellator cage sometime soon. I appreciate all the well wishes and ask that people respect my family’s privacy during this difficult time.”
The 33 year-old Straus last competed in October, when he was submitted by Emmanuel Sanchez at Bellator 184.
