Although Demetrious Johnson could set a new record for title defenses at UFC 216, it appears as though his bout with Ray Borg will serve as the card’s co-main event.

Recently the promotion moved Johnson – Borg to the October 7th event, after the latter was forced to dropout of UFC 215 due to illness. When Johnson competes, he will be looking to set a new record for title defenses at 11. The flyweight champion and former middleweight champ Anderson Silva are currently tied at 10 title defenses.

At UFC.com, the line-up for UFC 216 continues to show the Tony Ferguson – Kevin Lee bout for the interim, 155 title, as the headliner. A new poster for the card, also reportedly shows Ferguson – Lee as the main event.

UFC 216 will be hosted by the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
