It’s been several months now since Demetrious Johnson added another victory to his resume, and the decorated fighter remains unsure as to whether he’ll fight again.

Not long after Johnson recorded a decision win over Adriano Moraes on May 5th, the 36-year-old admitted that he was unsure about his future in fighting.

More recently, the former UFC flyweight champ and current ONE champion, appeared on MMA Junkie Radio. When asked about his future, “Mighty Mouse” reported he’s still undecided.

“It’s undecided yet, that’s a fair assessment to make right now.”

“It’s something that I have to be passionate about,” Johnson said, while discussing conditions for him to fight again. “I don’t want to do it just to do it. And for me, we just haven’t decided what’s next. Obviously, I’ve been busy with jiu-jitsu and that’s been driving me in training, but other than that, there’s nothing set in stone.”

With his rubber match victory over Moraes, Johnson moved his record to 25-4-1. Since moving from the UFC to ONE in 2019, Johnson has gone 5-1.
