Derek Hollands Tells Kevin Holland “See You Soon”, Following Latter’s Callout
By FCF Staff
Kevin Holland has made it clear Derek Brunson is one of the middleweight contenders he wants to fight, and the latter is calling on the UFC to make it happen.
Holland, who is coming off a brutal, KO win over ‘Jacare’ Souza at UFC 256, recently spoke with ESPN. While doing so, the middleweight claimed that he and Brunson have had some issues in the past.
According to Holland (21-5), when Brunson (21-7) was preparing to face now, middleweight champ Israel Adesanya in 2018, he asked if Holland would help him prepare. The latter turned it down, and that apparently led to some verbal exchanges.
In addition, while talking with ESPN, Holland took pokes at Brunson’s striking game. Since then, the explosive fighter tweeted out this.
Ha ha I accept .
Don’t run now mfer!
