Donald Cerrone Facing Potential, Six Month Long Medical Suspension
By FCF Staff
Donald Cerrone has long been one of the UFC’s most active fighters, but following his stoppage loss to Darren Till last weekend, the rugged vet’s could be sidelined for several months, on account of a medical suspension.
Cerrone was stopped by a flurry of strikes from Till in the opening round, one of which broke the welterweight’s nose. Since the UFC Fight Night 118 event, it’s been announced that Cerrone cannot compete for six months, unless he’s cleared by a maxillofacial specialist.
The defeat on Saturday was Cerrone’s third straight, and his second stoppage loss during that time.
