Donald Cerrone – Niko Price Fight Planned
By FCF Staff
It looks like Donald Cerrone’s 2020 campaign will include at least three bouts, as it’s being reported that the veteran has agreed to fight Niko Price.
The 37-year-old Cerrone, who is coming off a decision loss to Anthony Pettis in May, has verbally agreed to face Price at the UFC’s September 19th card. The 30-year-old Price has also agreed to the match-up, according to a report from ESPN.
Cerrone (36-15) will be looking to snap a four-fight losing streak. In “Cowboy’s” other bout this year, this past January, he was quickly stopped by Conor McGregor.
Price (14-4) is coming off a TKO loss (via doctor stoppage) to Vicente Luque in May. Prior to that he KO’d James Vick with an up kick in October, 2019.
The September 19th event is expected to take place at the Apex Facility in Las Vegas.
