Dos Santos, Mir and Velasquez Top UFC 146 Payroll

The Nevada State Athletic Commission has released the payroll for last weekend’s UFC 146 card in Las Vegas, and according to their figures, the card’s headliners led the way.
UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior dos Santos and former champ Frank Mir were both paid $200,000 for their main event bout. Dos Santos did not earn a win bonus for his second round TKO victory.
In the co-main-event, Cain Velasquez also collected $200,000 for his dominant and brutal stoppage of Antonio Silva, who was paid $70,000.
According to the NSAC, half of Velasquez’s aforementioned pay was a win bonus.
UFC 146 was hosted by the MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 26th.
