DREAM NYE: Fedor Takes Out Ishii, Aoki and Takaya Defend Belts

DREAM held its annual New Year’s Eve event in Saitama, Japan, last night and as usual, the card feature several prominent fighters.
In the night’s main event, the accomplished Fedor Emelianenko recorded his second win a row, by stopping Olympic Judo Gold Medalist Satoshi Ishii in the first round.
The card also saw the promotion’s lightweight champion Shinya Aoki defend his belt with a unanimous decision win over Satoru Kitaoka, as well as, featherweight champion Hiroyuki Takaya score a UD victory over “Lion” Inoue.
