Edmen Shahbazyan Posts Statement Following First Defeat

Edmen Shahbazyan took some heavy shots from Derek Brunson in their UFC Vegas 5 bout on Saturday. But the middleweight prospect’s reporting he’s okay, after suffering his first defeat.
The 22-year-old landed some big punches of his own in the opening round of the fight. But, in round two, Brunson took Shahbazyan down and punished him with thumping elbows and punches.
Not long into round three, the fight was stopped.
Since then, however, Shahbazyan has shared out the image and comments below.

Shahbazyan (11-1) had won four straight UFC bouts prior to facing Brunson (21-7).
