From Josh Hedges of Zuffa/UFC:  UFC 35 – Castillo to Face Carter Gil Castillo returns to his natural weight class at UFC: Throw Down when he takes on 4-time UFC veteran Shonie Carter. Castillo’s first UFC fight was for the middleweight title at UFC 33: Victory in Vegas. Castillo lost to Dave Menne by decision, but proved he belongs in the Octagon. Castillo is 16-1 overall in MMA. Carter is no stranger to the Octagon. He is 3-1 in the UFC, and 56-6-6 overall in MMA. Just last weekend, Carter won the Shidokan Middleweight Championship in Chicago. This will be his first UFC bout since UFC 32: Showdown in the Meadowlands.
