Following reports that Fedor Emelianenko has been hospitalized after contracting COVID-19, the Russian legend says he feels “fine”.

The 44-year-old heavyweight has been admitted to a hospital in Moscow, which specializes in treating COVID-19, according to a report from RT. The report also includes a translation of a recent Instagram post Emelianenko made.

“Thanks to all who are genuinely concerned for my health. I feel fine, I am going into recovery. I’m grateful to the doctors and medical staff for their care and hard work.”

Emelianenko (39-6) hasn’t fought since December, 2019, when he quickly stopped ‘Rampage’ Jackson.
