Decorated and undefeated boxer, Floyd Mayweather Jr., has announced a new date for a boxing match with YouTube celebrity, Logan Paul.
Recently Mayweather Jr. and his promotions company, announced the fight is set for June 6. The bout will take place Miami.
Mayweather and Paul were originally expected to box on February 20, but the fight never took place. It’s not clear as this is being written if the fight will be an exhibition match. The 26-year-old Paul, however, has only one pro-bout on his record: a decision loss to fellow YouTuber, KSI.
Mayweather Jr. reportedly cannot weigh more than 160 pounds for the bout, and Paul cannot come in over 190 pounds.
The 44-year-old Mayweather’s (50-0) last pro fight was in 2018, when he stopped Conor McGregor. The fighter also quickly finished kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in a 2019, exhibition boxing match.
