Floyd Mayweather Jr. Takes Poke at Conor McGregor Following Latter’s Retirement
By FCF Staff
Following Conor McGregor’s announcement that he’s retiring, again, from fighting, his old foe Floyd Mayweather Jr. had a message for the star.
This past weekend, McGregor reported that he’s hanging up the gloves. The former UFC champ says he’s no longer excited with the “game” and McGregor also expressed frustration that his next fight hadn’t been booked.
Since then, the undefeated boxer Mayweather Jr. shared out this comment.
“If I’m not mistaken, didn’t you tell Mike Tyson you could beat me if we fought a second time?” Mayweather said. “Now you’re quitting! I thought you wanted to beat the best? Well, if you decide to come back, I will be waiting to punish you again.”
