Paddy Pimblett campaigned for the UFC to call him, following his latest win, and it looks like that happened.

The 26-year-old Pimblett, who has been regarded as one of Europe’s top featherweights for some time now, recently submitted Davide Martinez at Cage Warriors 122.

After the win, the Liverpool fighter called on the UFC to sign him, and now Cage Warriors is reporting Pimblett has indeed, been added to the UFC roster.

In a press release from Cage Warriors, Pimblett was quoted saying.

“It’s amazing, I said before my last fight that if I won I’d be signing for the UFC, and here I am.”

Pimblett (16-3) has won two straight since he lost via decision to Soren Bak in 2018. The former featherweight champ is 3-2 in his last 5 outings.
