Former UFC Contender Askar Askarov Signs With ACA

Askar Askarov will likely be returning to action in the coming weeks, as Absolute Championship Akhmat has announced the promotion’s signed the former UFC contender.
Askarov established himself as a force in the UFC’s flyweight division by going 3-0-1 in his first four bouts, before losing by decision to Kai Kara France this past October.
Following that bout, the 30-year-old fighter announced he had requested his release from the UFC, due to health issues.
The ACA announcement did not include any information regarding Askarov’s (14-1-1) contract or when he’s expected to make his debut.
