Francis Ngannou Reacts to News of Ciryl Gane – Derrick Lewis Interim Title Fight

As the MMA world responds to the surprising news UFC 265 will feature an interim heavyweight title, champion Francis Ngannou has weighed-in on the fight.
Recently ESPN reported that Derrick Lewis and Ciryl Gane will fight for an interim belt at the August 7, UFC 265 card. According to the report, the UFC wanted to have Ngannou fight Lewis in June. The promotion tried to book the fight for August, but, Ngannou reportedly said he wouldn’t be ready to compete.
Following the news of the interim title fight, Ngannou shared out these comments.

Ngannou (16-3) won the heavyweight title just three months ago, when he knocked Stipe Miocic out in the second round.
