Artem Levin retained GLORY’s middleweight title tonight in San Diego, but the scoring of the bout will likely be debated for some time.

Levin faced decorated Muay Thai competitor and recent tourney winner, Simon Marcus, and the bout was declared a majority draw. One judge, however, scored the fight in favor of Marcus.

The long awaited fight featured plenty of clinches, so much so, Levin was deducted a point. Although the bout was very competitive, Marcus was the aggressor throughout much of the contest, and appeared to be headed to victory. In the end, however, the fight was scored 48-46, 47-47, 47-47.

Here are the results from GLORY 21, which was hosted by San Diego’s Valley View Casino Center.
