GLORY Collision 3: Rico Verhoeven Takes Trilogy Fight With Ben Saddik, PPV Sells Over 100K Buys
By FCF Staff
Rico Verhoeven’s near-decade-long run as GLORY’s heavyweight champion continues, following the kickboxing promotion’s latest card Saturday in the Netherlands.
Verhoeven battled Ben Saddik in a rubber match at Collision 3, and won the battle via a fourth round, TKO. The champion won GLORY’s title back in 2013.
Saddik stopped Verhoeven in their first fight, which took place in 2011. The latter avenged that loss by stopping Saddik in their 2017 rematch.
According to a press release from GLORY, the pay-per-view card sold over 100,000 buys and over 18,000 fans attended the card in Arnhem.
