Jungle Fight 2 Set to Go with a Solid Card By Eduardo Alonso Promoted by Wallid Ismail, Jungle Fight 2 was truly a mystery until not too long ago. Endless questions and doubts surrounded the show as Ismail kept himself quiet until there was mere weeks before the event, leaving fans and press wondering if the show would actually happen and what fighters would be gracing the ring in case Jungle 2 was a go. Well, the show is not only going to happen but will present an even more interesting card than in its first edition, showing that Wallid still has some good tricks under his sleeve as a promoter! Among others the show will count with PRIDE veterans such as Ebenezer Braga, Carlos Barreto and Assuerio Silva, as well as UFC veterans Travis Wiuff and Bobby Hoffman. The most important MMA teams in Brazil will be represented on the show as Chute Boxe, Brazilian Top Team, Ruas Vale Tudo and Gracie Barra Combat Team are all on board. Although one of the biggest attractions on the first Jungle Fight was the atmosphere created for the show, being the first MMA event ever to take place in the middle of the rain forest, this time Wallid is bringing the event to the city of Manaus, capital of the state of Amazonas up in the north of Brazil where the biggest part of the Amazon Forest is located. This puts Jungle Fight 2, this next Saturday May 15th, around 4 hours by boat from the location of the first show, bringing fight action to STUDIO 5, a house of spectacles that is usually used for concerts and such. Being broadcast live for Brazil on Pay Per View, fans will certainly benefit from having the show’s biggest point on the actual fights as the card was finally unveiled, only 3 days before the show!
