Henry Cejudo’s quest to reclaim the UFC’s bantamweight title has hit another roadblock, as the decorated fighter’s announced he’s withdrawing from UFC 292.
The former bantamweight and flyweight champ was booked to fight Marlon Vera at the August 19th, Boston event. But, recently Cejudo revealed that he’s decided to drop out from the fight due to a shoulder injury.
The 36-year-old Cejudo (16-3) came out of retirement earlier this year and faced current bantamweight champ, Aljamain Sterling. The latter won the fight via split decision.
