The MMA world finally knows what fight is next for Ilia Topuria, as the UFC has confirmed the former featherweight champ will battle Charles Oliveira, and it will be for the vacated, lightweight crown.

Following Islam Makhachev’s confirmation that he is moving up to welterweight to fight the new champ, Jack Della Maddalena, Topuria and Oliveira will fight for the lightweight belt at UFC 317.

The card will take place on June 28th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The promotion has also confirmed that flyweight champ Alexandre Pantoja will face Kai Kara France in the co-main event.

In addition, the UFC has announced that middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis will battle Khamzat Chimaev in the main event of UFC 319, which is taking place August 18th in Chicago, Illinois.
