For the first time in over a decade, Ilir Latifi is no longer on the UFC roster.

The light-heavyweight and heavyweight fighter recently fought Rodrigo Nascimento and lost the fight via split decision. The defeat snapped a two-fight winning streak for the 39-year-old Latifi (16-9).

More recently, UFC officials confirmed with MMA Fighting that Latifi has completed his contract and is no longer on the promotion’s roster.

Latifi’s first UFC bout took place in April, 2013, against Gegard Mousasi and he lost the bout via unanimous decision. The fighter and experienced wrestler ended up going 9-7 in 16 UFC bouts.
