Isaac Vallie-Flagg Announces UFC Release, Asks Bellator’s Scott Coker if Promotion is Interested
By FCF Staff
It looks as though lightweight Isaac Vallie-Flagg’s run with the UFC has come to an end, as the rugged veteran has announced via Twitter that he’s been cut by the promotion.
Vallie-Flagg is coming off a hard fought, unanimous decision loss to Matt Wiman in November, which was the Jackson MMA fighter’s third straight defeat. Prior to facing Wiman, the 36 year-old was also decisioned by Takanori Gomi and Elias Silverio, but both bouts were memorable affairs.
The New Mexico resident reported the news by tweeting:
I would like to thank @ufc @seanshelby joe silva and @danawhite for the opportunity I was givin to fulfill a dream!

Hey @ScottCoker you guys need anybody over at @BellatorMMA who comes to scrap every fight?

Vallie-Flagg moved from Strikeforce to the UFC in 2013, and proceeded to score a split decision win over Yves Edwards, which extended his undefeated streak to 12.
