By FCF Staff
After dropping a clear-cut, decision loss to Ciryl Gane on Saturday, Jairzinho Rozenstruik has called his performance the worst of his career.
Rozenstruik faced the rising heavyweight in the headliner of UFC Vegas 20, and lost the fight by 50-45 scores across the bout. Although Rozenstruik never appeared to be in serious danger of being finished, he was out struck by a margin of 128 to 49.
Following the defeat, the experienced kickboxer posted a video statement, in which Rozenstruik stated the following (quotes via MMA Junkie).
“I just fought and the fight didn’t go my way,” Rozenstruik said. “I think it’s my worst performance ever, if you ask me. I’m hard (on) myself. I think I realize this.”
“I’m going to go back home and work my ass off for my next fight,” Rozenstruik said. “I don’t know who that’s going to be. Respect to Ciryl. He won the fight.”
