Jeremy Stephens Says Jose Aldo “Ran” From Him, Blasts FW Star
By FCF Staff
Following Jeremy Stephens win over Renan Barao in May, the featherweight is accusing the latter’s teammate, Jose Aldo, of ducking him.
Stephens, who worked his way to a unanimous decision victory over Barao, recently tweeted the following:
Aldo ran from a fight with me and playing it safe. He needs his boy Barao's heart & chin.
So… Who's head do you want me to crack next?— Jeremy Stephens (@LiLHeathenMMA) July 28, 2016
Aldo, meanwhile, scored a UD win over Frankie Edgar at UFC 200 earlier this month to win the interim, 145 title. The Brazilian is expected to face reigning champ Conor McGregor next, if the latter decides to return to featherweight, after he rematches Nate Diaz, August 20th.
