Jon Jones Says Israel Adesanya’s Not “Worth my Time”, Following Latter’s Loss
By FCF Staff
Following Israel Adesanya’s loss at UFC 259, Jon Jones was quick to fire verbal shots at his rival.
Adesanya moved up to challenge light heavyweight champ Jan Blachowicz in Saturday’s main event, and ended up losing the fight via unanimous decision. Adesanya never appeared to be in serious trouble during the bout, but Blachowicz took over the later rounds of the fight with his wrestling and top game.
After the bout, Jones tweeted out the following comments.
Yeah never mind, that’s not even worth my time
If you ever wrote me talking sh-t about Izzy beating me, slap yourself
Dare to be great, good job kid

Jones vacated the light heavyweight title last year following his tightly contested, split decision win over Dominick Reyes in February, 2020. Jones is expected to face the winner of the March 27th fight between heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou.
