Jon Jones Warns Daniel Cormier “We Are Going to See How Slow I Am” After Latter’s Recent Comments
By FCF Staff
After Daniel Cormier questioned whether Jon Jones should be doing as much weight lifting as he has been, it hasn’t taken long for the former light-heavyweight champ to fire back.
Since Jones was reinstated by the UFC, the fighter has posted several pictures and videos of himself lifting weights. Recently Cormier appeared on “The MMA Hour” and the champion argued that Jones could adversely affect his mobility, as a result of putting on too much muscle mass.
Jones was obviously made aware of the comments, as he recently tweeted out this:
We are going to see how slow I am when I foot sweep you on your ass again

If you honestly think transforming 10lbs of fat into muscle will slow me down you're sadly mistaken. I appreciate your concerns DC

Cormier and Jones fought this past January and the latter won the bout via unanimous decision. A rematch is expected to take place in 2016.
