According to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto, Jorge Masvidal versus Colby Covington is set to headline UFC 272, which is scheduled to take place on March 5th. Location will be at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Verbal agreements have been put into place. However, no contracts have been signed.

Both Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington are looking to bounce back from their recents losses to current welterweight champion Kamaru Usman. Covington lost to Usman via unanimous decision at UFC 268 this past November, while Masvidal lost to Usman via KO last March at UFC 261.

This grudge match between Masvidal and Covington has been a bout that many fans have asking to see for years. Now, they finally get to see it on March 5th at UFC 272.
