Jorge Masvidal Social Media Post Says He’s Ending Retirement
By FC Staff
Jorge Masvidal has talked about the possibility of competing again in recent months, and it looks like the star could indeed be returning to the cage or ring.
Masvidal announced he was hanging up the gloves in April, 2023, following his decision loss to Gilbert Burns at UFC 287. Since then, the 39-year-old has expressed an interest in boxing and Masvidal (35-17) had also floated the possibility of returning to MMA.
But, more recently, the former BMF champ shared out the comment below via X.

The long-time, welterweight contender closed out his MMA career with a four-fight, losing streak, which also included two losses to Kamaru Usman and one to Colby Covington.
It’s not clear at this time if the UFC would allow Masvidal to compete in other sports or for other MMA organizations if he requested to do so.
